Wedding Undergarments

Have any of the women on YA ever worn the "Spanks" undergarments that Oprah talks about all the time?

My best friend had a baby three weeks ago and she and her husband are going to be in a wedding in two weeks. She looks really good to have a three week old, but the dress for the wedding isn't fitting her very well. She hates to spend $$ on alterations. Over the weekend she said she might buy a pair of the Spanks (or Spanxx) undergarments that Oprah talks about all the time and see if they really work well. Has anyone tried them? Do you get a really noticable improvement like Oprah lets on? Thanks!

Spanx idea is great but the acutal product is so-so. You can get the same effect by purchasing a similar product at Walgreens, Rite Aid or CVS that is made by No Nonsense (I think) or one of the other major hoisery brands.
